Sonia Rosa
Sonia arrived in Japan in 1969, and immediately became a favorite amongst the bossa nova crowd. She has performed at various venues across Tokyo working closely with some of the most important names in the bossa nova world, including long-time friend and collaborators Sadao Watanabe and Yuji Ohno.
In 2006, Sonia released her album “Depois Do Nosso Tempo”, her first album in 27 years. The album was released both on CD and digital format (from Syn Songs) marked her long-awaited return to the bossa nova scene.
