Dr. John
New Orleans native Mac Rebennack AKA Dr John has collaborated with Syn on several occasions, commencing with a cover of the James Brown classic “it’s a mans, mans, mans world” for the Lark cigarettes campaign staring Ken Takakura. The campaign was so successful that Dr. John, Nick Wood, Michael Becker and Nick Souter wrote 2 original songs “ You Make my Day” and “ The Sun “. Dr. John has also performed the late Robert Palmer and Nick Wood composition “Last Forever” which can be heard on the soon to be released Silvio album.
