About Syn Songs
The Syn Songs publishing arm specializes in composing and producing original music for TV, film and digital content. We are a member of JASRAC and MPA and our catalogue is administered by Nichion. Our reliable and transparent royalty reporting has enabled us to provide sub-publishing for various international catalogues. We also provide music supervision and rights clearances for brands and advertising agencies.
The Syn Songs record label specializes in bespoke brand-focused compilation CD's and we partner with Syn Studios to record and produce original artist recordings. We are constantly striving to develop new and innovative ways to utilize the music of arrangers, artists, and producers we represent worldwide.
Licensing
Our original songs have been licensed to TV shows such as Sex and The City, motion pictures such as the Wim Wenders film "Dream Island", and TV commercials for Coca-Cola, Kirin Beverage, Lexus, Starbucks, and Volkswagen, to name but a few.
We have also provided music supervision and efficiently negotiated synchronization and master rights deals for our clients including music by Deep Purple, Duffy, Duran Duran, JET, Kyoto Jazz Massive, Lenny Kravitz, Superfly, and The Rolling Stones.
Customized Collections
Syn Songs has produced customized music collections for Starbucks Coffee Japan, Chanel, Hilton Hotels, Sheraton Miyako Hotel Tokyo, Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo and The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo.
Syn Artists
Syn Artists include Simon Le Bon, lead singer of Duran Duran, and songwriter/composer Nick Wood, who has scored hundreds of Japanese and international TV commercials, as well as written several hit songs such as "Passion", which will be celebrating its 10th year as Japan's favorite soccer anthem.
