TBS’s rating jewel “News 23” will be re-launching today as “News 23X” with all new designs, sets, anchors, and of course music. All of the music in the new program has been designed by Syn’s very own Nick Wood. Below are comments from Nick on his latest work.
“I have often thought to myself it would be great to compose music for something as important as the evening news, but I never imagined I would be asked, especially knowing that such esteemed composers like Ryuichi Sakamoto have written the music for News 23 before me. I’m so happy that TBS approached me to compose the music for the 2010 News 23 X show. We live in a world where the news from around the world is not always good news, but I hope my theme song “Sound & Light” will bring a little bit of happiness to people at the end of each day.” - Nick Wood
