Simon Le Bon, the chairman of Syn, has been visiting Japan for the past few days.
He and Nick have been busy every day in the Syn Studio working on their music.

Last night Syn celebrated hanami (cherry blossom festival) at Yasukuni Shrine.
Simon, Nick, and the Syn team enjoyed themselves under the cherry blossoms with food, drinks, and laughter.

Hennessy artistry’s signature event “Hennessy artistry Club Session” kicked off at nishiazabu alife on September 22nd with a stunning performance by hip-hop star KREVA and DJ set later on in the night by DJ HASEBE.

Drawing a record-breaking audience of over 2,000 people to the venue, the legendary night set the highest standard for Roppongi club events this year, and certainly set the stage for KREVA’s show at the Budokan next month.

Syn created and produced the Hennessy artistry Japan launch party at Daikanyama Unit last Friday night.

It was a huge success, and in line with the concept of ‘The Global Art of Mixing”, we blended music genres, styles, cultures, people, and of course Hennessy VS.

Throughout 2010, Syn will be creating even more original content for Hennessy artistry Japan, featuring a cutting-edge line up of local and international artists.

Last night was the official opening of the new Syn Studios and our company bounenkai party. We have been planning, designing and building the new studio space for well over a year and finally we opened our doors for all to see.

Not only was this our new studio opening, but the launch of our new website (http://www.syn.co.jp) produced by Chris Palmieri of AQ, we also launched our new brand identity by North, (who I have been working with since 1996), the new logo features a whole new color scheme for Syn to represent the 4 divisons, Syn Songs, Syn Studios, Syn Entertainment and Syn Create.

The food for the party was amazing, prosciutto ham, parmegiano cheese from Mario Frittoli’s restaurant i sentieri, yakitori from Genpachi and smoked salmon.

We also enjoyed sake from the traditional barrel and custom made Syn-branded wooden cups and Chandon champagne.

DJ’s included Syn’s very own funk master J and John Beulleus.
　

In the studio we demonstrated a 5:1 surround mix for the Marc Newson film, “Knife Through Water” that Syn is currently producing.

Lastly, the table tennis competition seemed to be a big success with the 2 winners each getting an iPod.
